Mire thorns? Definitely worth it. It doesn't get resisted very often, so you can use it to snare at the end of a battle. If you are kiting, start with mire thorns, and follow with ensnare. Ensnare will overwright Mire Thorns. Mire Thorns only lasts 3 mins, but in that three mins you have plenty of time to overwrite it by chain casting ensnare until it sticks (if kiting) or if grouped, just snare late before it runs. Before I got Mire Thorns I had to start snaring when the mob was around 60% in places like MPG because I could get up to 4 or 5 resists at times. That risked getting me agro, and also made me useless for DPS.

Buy it.

I agree absolutely worth it. Also agree with the above post, if its going to take you more then 3 mins to kill the mob you definately want to redo with Ensnare.

I have never actually used the 61 snare since I have the reward version, but if it works anywhere near as effectively as the reward version then it is defeinitely worthwhile. I have not had a single snare resist since I got the reward version.

I was in two minds about buying this spell, now it's my default snare and works a treat.
