How acurate is this information on this Druid Walkthrough, i followed it up to the 3rd part, spent 5.5 hrs today straight working on getting the 8 or 9 items i needed to make the stupid *poor goblin disquise*, and waited another hr for the time of 7pm EQ time to come about.

When i went and clicked the disquise it says i changed to a froglock etc, and then i said *start the contest* and i even said */say start the contest* and nothing happened. I was outside of temple of droga standing there infront of the goblins, after i ran around doing the saying, i killed the entrance goblins and did it again and still nothing i ran around the mountain, and into the cave, and nothing the disquise was on me ,but nothing was triggering when i was saying *start the contest*. So i thought maybe it's wrong after 4 minutes, nothing happened, i started running to Nurga, all the time auto run and SHIFT + UP Arrow key *start the contest* and still nothing. My froglog skill or language is 100 *master*, my brewing is 68 ,because you need 58-68 brewiing to be able to combine the 4 items together to make the goblin spray. So when i get to nurga NOTHING again, i did the same thing, i went invisi in both places, after i ran around without invisi on, and no matter what nothing happened.

I'm pretty pissed right now because i spent 5.5 hrs straight trying to get this part done before i went to bed, and now i have to spent atleast another 5hrs again at some point just to do this crap again, this is why i left in the first place and i just came back less then 2 weeks ago. What did i do wrong, why didn't the stupid goblins come out, why didn't the raid start ?

Q: Were you invisi when you started the say of *start the contest*.
A: no i wasn't, i tried it a ton of times before i went invisi to see if that helped.

Q: Did you try inside the entrance of the cave or just outside.
A: I was outside at first, and that didnt' work so i went inside and that didn't work either.

Q: Are you sure it was 7pm EQ time ?
A: Yes i'm sure, i also waited another 2 minutes after that, just before it hit 8pm EQ time just to make sure i was on time.

Q: So how pissed are you that you just wasted 5.5hrs of your life to not have this work.
A: Not going to say, keepen this some what calm

Bag of Diseased Maiden's Hair can be obtained by doing the Goblin Hide n' Seek event in Frontier Mountains. First, you need to make a Poor Goblin Disguise, and Master (100 skill) Goblin language.

Stand back from the goblins, right click your goblin disguise, /language # (which ever # goblin is), go up to a goblin at the cave entrance to Droga... /say start the contest... Worked fine for me...

Target the melee goblins before you use /say, can't remeber the gob's name. But if you been there 5h you know which ones I mean.

I got it right at the third time, I used a warp point that just gave too many adds. Finally a druid mate showed me "killer ledge" and it was a walk in da park.

As they've said, goblin is the key. I found /say start the contest only worked with 4 conditions: infront of Droga, not invisible, at night, and within range of a living goblin. Agro didnt matter.

Make sure ALL your chat windows are set to goblin language.

Where is this "killer ledge" that you are referring to? I am about to do this event (again...) and I'd prefer to have ALL of my bases covered so that this will be my last (and successful) run at the Hider.

The warp spots that I know of (from the walkthrough) are:
-550, -550 (right behind the Giant Fort)
-432, -357 (right behind the Giant Fort, but up on top the hill)
1118, -1018 (on a ridge nearer to Droga - next to two big rocks)

There have been some others mentioned (e.g. on top of the hill by the two big Iksar statues), but these seem to be the most "popular".

Are one of these what you are referring to as "killer ledge"?

You mention Froglok a couple of times in your post. Did you mean to say you switched to Goblin or did you really try to use Froglok? If you did this using Froglok, then there's your problem right there.

I am having a similar problem, just about to try attempt #3 today, and I will let you know if it works.

OK, I finally got it to work. This is what I did:

1. was in the FM zone by 5 PM game time.

2. had a macro for /time and a macro for the "start the contest":
/language 15
/say start the contest
/language 1

3. I was invis (Innate Cammo) right inside the Droga mines entrance with one of the Goblins targetting.

4. I was spamming the /time macro to watch for game time of 7PM to arrive.

5. exactly when it was 7PM, I triggered the Poor Goblin Disguise, which popped off invis.

6. with the Goblin still targetted, I hit the StartCon macro as fast as possible.

7. When I did this, I saw the Goblin reply, and then all the Goblins aggro'd on me. I killed them, and then a while later, I started to see the Goblin shouts that thing were getting going.

I would have to check my map at home (quick tea break at work) to tell you the silly point I took for my first two tries. But it the loc is in the area that is both possitive.
The amounts of adds there was just silly.

Of the two you list, it was one of these two:

-550, -550 (right behind the Giant Fort)
-432, -357 (right behind the Giant Fort, but up on top the hill)

I am more inclined for second one. But TBH i can't answer for certain.
