Awhile back I recall hearing mention of soloing or duoing in the Nest. Does anyone have experience with that? Fire has gotten a bit crowded since the mergers and I am looking for new hunting grounds. Any advice is much appreciated.

Hmmm, I remember a post where someone said it was good exp and challenging. You just had to stay near zone-in. Can't find the post ATM. I don't think it had much on strat other than stay near zone in, lol. But I was thinking of looking into this also. More info and opinions would be helpful.

The missions are nice for soloing... find two people to group with you who go afk in guild and go get a mission. Solo pulls, almost always melee types, 15%+ AA per kill. Sure it takes time, but it's doable and easy.

I ran into the Nest (normal, not instanced) after reading that original post. At level 67, I pulled a single blue Drake that pretty much chain casted on me while it was rooted. With self-buffs, I was able to resist all but 2 nukes, which I easily healed. I sat there and root-rotted it for quite a while. It broke loose once and hit me for about 700. When it was finally over, the Drake was dead, I was down to 20% mana (out of a pool of 5000) and I got 8% of an AA for the single kill.

I would not recommend this to people, other than looking for something different to do right before logging off (since we seem to log back in with full health nowadays).
