Almost ready to ding 21 and am constantly doing upgrades as I find them. I can't, however, seem to find any decent chest armor. Any suggestions from you guys?

You might be able to find some cultural stuff that's decent and wearable for your level?

I wore a Lokjaw (sp?) vest from about that level til I was into my 40s... But I'm guessing there's better stuff available?

You might find something via LDoN if folks still do those?

make a high level friend to help you camp Elysians. If they need mote incentive to help you, offer to give them all the other loot drops.

I'm not sure how often people camp them nowadays, but I remember when I was coming up you could just hang out there and loot rotting loot from other groups. Of course I wouldn't put your money on having a BP rot for you =p. But Elysian is really nice stuff, will last you til the mid 60's.

Can probably get an Ulthork Tunic (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=3961) for almost nothing. I wore one of those into my mid 50's.

Elysians Chests are superrare, but other Elysian parts drop more often and are worth the effort of camping those.

I never thought elysian tunics were any more rare than any other part. For me, if I recall, head and hands were the toughest part.

your current tunic is decent for your level. don't rush the upgrade until you get beyond its rec level.

otherwise, you won't find better until you ding either 46 or 51. 46 opens up some planes-crafted items and 51 opens up the tae ew crafted items.


your other options are either DoN vendor bought items (again, not until you reach higher levels) OR DoN cultural items (expert's or master's).
