I am level 57 and visited the DON (Good) Merchant for the first time today and bought lots of AUGS plus my new spell. I was able to buy from him without ever doing missions or quests.
Is this something new? I heard before that you could not access the DON Merchants until you "proved yourself".
Is this a BUG now or something new for now on. I bought everything I could afford (I exchanged my plat for Radiant Crsytals) just in case this buying without faction gets nerfed.
Were you always able to access the DON Merchant to buy stuff even without proving yourself through missions, tasks or quests?

Pretty sure, just like any other merchant, you need to be Apperhenisve, tho I am not sure.

Not sure if it was intended, but I know you could buy at either vendor, even while KoS to the faction. May have been fixed. Not sure.

You can buy from either merchant. Faction comes into play when you want to start a mission or task yourself. You can tag along with someone that has high faction that has already gotten the mission.

You can currently buy from either merchant.

However, I'm following various discussions on Sony's boards and at least one developer thinks that being able to buy from both merchants is not what they intended.

So I've been fearing a nerf coming soon. Which would really suck. But then again, when has Sony ever cared that the people who do something later on, rather than grind as soon as an expansion comes out, get screwed.
