I recall having a very similar experience with the necromancer version of Dire Charm when I first got it.

If I recall correctly, the ability to flag spells as "non-dispellable" didn't exist until recently, so that spell was never able to be flagged properly. I've gone ahead and flagged all three versions of Dire Charm to be non-dispellable, and we'll be testing the changes on the Test Server after we update the server again.

Provided we don't find any exploits or other problematic situations with this change, it should make it's way live during the next update (which will probably be the Depths of Darkhollow launch.)

haha imagine if necromancers could dire charm the soulbinder in arena. would be nice if the DCd pet would work with invis too... so that one could navigate dangerous areas with invis on and still have that greenie tagging along doing your bidding

Like the heals at 39 and 49 it's so nice of them to finally implement a change that was due 3 years ago. Cheers SoE. I guess we can anticipate our healing changes / stances in 2008.
