"Wow," was the first thing that popped into my mind. Quickly followed by "Bastards."

Wonder what Fox has up their sleeves....This is a stratigy buy. They bought IGN for a purpose. I wonder what that is....

Is IGN the company that sells virtual crap, like EQ characters and lewt? Maybe O'Reilly wants a l33t EQ character.

Cross media ownership is exactly what News Corp is about. They consistently use one form of media to promote another.

IGN does gaming news, its not yantis heh.

But I'm afraid that now IGN will only give good write-ups to games approved by the GOP.

ign = imagine games network :p

not to be confused by IGE

Ign has been my most visited gaming site since the dawn of the internet (in PR at least) when they started with independent sites like IGN64.com which shouldnt exist by now...

Its all a plot. Republicans ate my baby and molested my sisters daugther's youngest roommate's cousin. Its true!

Well it's hardly a plot to see News Corp abusing cross-media ownership when its whole media empire thrives exactly that right now.
