When I close your program I don't want it to keep running some executable in the background.

When I turn off, I want it off.

When I use your media player to watch a video or listen to a song, I do NOT want a freeking store. I don't want you to leave your little TSRs around to "let me run your program faster". I don't want you collecting my data, or providing me with IM. I already have IM service, I don't need you for messaging. And I don't want your news, I don't care what Britney has named her mongoloid bastard.

And for fvcks sake, stay the hell out of my startup folder. I did not give you permission to put stuff in there. Leave it alone.

And have your uninstaller actually uninstall. Leaving all that junk in my registry, just tells me your programmers are retards.

I have watched as programmers have become more and more lazy with resoure allocation and feature creep.

It used to be that if your program was approaching 1M in size you did something seriously wrong. Now we don't blink when we have a multimeg program running and sucking down resources like pixie sticks.

I am an advocate for keeping things simple. Like you, I don't want to be sent to a store when I play my music. When I shut down a program, release ALL of your resources (a common place for lazy programming to come to light). I don't need a word processor hocking goods to me based on what I type. Oh that last one hasn't happened yet.

Keep it simple. Like those SpaceX guys.

What about "feature creep" in cars? I mean, just because you can put a detector in a car seat doesn't mean you SHOULD make it try to guess if its a person sitting there or if its a bag full of gym clothes! Stupid seat-belt blinky lighty thing.

I put my cell phone on my passenger seat today and it turned off my passenger side air bag :P.

Well, you know, air bags have been known to do bad things to cell phones...
