I actually won this item tonight in Mission 5, "Confronting a Traitor", from the Elder Longshadow mission arc. It was a random drop off zone trash, but this was the first time I have seen it after having done this mission 3 times prior. Anyways, happy farming :)

Yea, it's random drop in the instance zone that starts in the very NW corner of Undershore. One of the very first reported drops was from Shyra raid trash.

The original link doesn't list any recast time. The difference between a recast time of 0 and 8 hours on such an item is quite a big one. I just figure I'ld point that out before someone spends 50 hours farming for it.

Were you doing the mission on normal or hard setting?

The mask is random drop from Snarlstone Dens. Doesn't matter which mission you take there. 2 people in my guild have successfully camped it. One got it on 2nd mob after he zoned in, other one cleared the whole zone 13 times, retaking one of the missions each time until he got it to drop.

Got it to drop on normal setting.
