Perhaps it was the 3+ years I spent playing EQ, but every now and then I have a flashback that seems like it was a place I visited. For instance, today all of a sudden I was seeing West Karana in my memory as if it was somewhere I had actually been. I haven't played EQ in... 2 or more years now.

Weird! But its nice to know I can flashbacks without actually having to take LSD.

Yes it can appen when you have passed more time in EQ that you have passed somewhere else in the realworld. For me it was Kelethin that is the worse (done a lot of tradeskills in this city and loving it Robinhood feeling).

Funny, I still occassionally dream about dealing with guild politics (not the good kind either). I do miss the early days, when a single group could go have fun and guilds were just ways of hangin' with your friends.

I get flashbacks all the time. Especially running through the different zones and the excitement that would accumulate just before engaging a major mob. They have been getting less and less each time but they are still very present. I wish they would make a single player version with all the /ooc, /shout, /tell, etc that used to occur ingame. Would be a riot to re-live it all without actually having to be online. :)
