Kelliad's Trials in Seach of Ilsuras

This progression does the following:
- Gives casters AND melee a level 68 DoD spell/disc.

**WARNING: When completing these tasks make sure nobody is zoning, LD, etc or they will get bugged and not get their reward nor credit for the mission. They can also get stuck with a 54 day lockout timer!

General Notes: Each task begins from Kelliad. The first step of each task is always to go Meldrek (-200,-1750) in Stoneroot Falls. Sometimes Meldrek will port you to your instance, other times he is just a check point. Also, unlike JTP's missions these zones have REPOPS!

Mission 1: A Rogue's Trust
Mission Giver: Kelliad
Mission Type: 1-Group
Starting Zone: Stoneroot Falls
Instanced Zone: Stoneroot Falls (Instanced Version)

Fairly simple mission here. Get your task, swing down to Meldrek and your ported to your own private version of Stoneroot Falls. Your task is simple, 1) discovered the gate to Xill, 2) kill 25 drachnids, 3) loot 4 drachnid hearts and return them to Kelliad. I can't really say much to make this any easier (these mobs are like BoT difficulty). Well one thing, Xill is the spider area on the southern end of Stoneroot Falls.

Mission 2: Scouting the City
Mission Giver: Kelliad
Mission Type: 1-Group
Starting Zone: Stoneroot Falls
Instanced Zone: Stoneroot Falls (Instanced Version)

This is almost a mirror image of the first mission but with a twist. Enter again via Meldrek. Your first task is to clear into the courtyard of Xill. While your doing this, your also doing your next task which is kill 25 drachnids. After you have killed 25 a named will spawn. The named is Warlord Drellak (70), he flurries, he summons, he hits around 2k max (mostly much lower). He can be slowed. Once he is dead, loot the Tome of the Deep Waters and return it to Kelliad.

Mission 3: Building the Disguise
Mission Giver: Kelliad
Mission Type: 1-Group
Starting Zone: Stoneroot Falls
Instanced Zone: Temple of Xill

This is a fairly long mission. Once you have the task head to Meldrek and he'll send you off to your own zone. The ingame task manager (Alt-Q) pretty much somes this up better than I can say so i'll be brief. Your going to have to kill 10 x witherans, 25 x drachnids and 10 x diligent silkweavers. As you kill them you need a certain number of drops from them as well. Once you have completed all this, your are directed to find the entrance to the Prince's chamber. It's just up that ramp with a huge door behind it. Also, a not so friendly named will spawn. She is The Chamber Guardian (red /con). She is a pain but not too bad, she does have an AE, it's a knockback /w snare and DoT component (weak DoT). The biggest problem with her is she powers up as she dies... and near the last few percent she hits for INSANE amounts. So save discs for the end of this fight. Once all of this is done you need to return with all your looted items to Kelliad. One last note, have 1 person loot all of the quest items, and follow the directions in the task manager for turning them in.

Mission 4: The Search for Ilsura
Mission Giver: Kelliad
Mission Type: 1-Group
Starting Zone: Stoneroot Falls
Instanced Zone: Temple of Xill

WARNING: Before entering the Temple of Xill, ensure you and your party are illusion free. This means no wolf-form, no mage illusions, no rogue illusions, no shrouds, etc. Zoning in with any illusion on can bug you and prevent you from properly turning into a spider. If you don't turn into a spider you will be attacked and prevent the script from running. There is also a video bug that may make some people appear to not be spiders, ask around in your group to ensure everyone looks like a spider on at least 1 persons screen before proceeding.

Get the task from Kelliad and swing by Meldrek. This time Meldrek doesn't port you any where, he just points you in the right direction. The entrance to the Temple is where you just killed that last named (the door at the top of the ramp). Once inside your going to notice your all spiders! No, this isn't a monster mission, it is just an illusion. Once everyone is in, proceed forward (the mobs will appear to be KOS but they won't attack) and meet with Overseer Renok. He will start a short dialogue and request you follow him to his Commander. Well, do as he says and follow him a short way into a room with a red mob named Commander (doh!) and get ready to fight. Shortly after arriving you will be spotted! Get ready to fight both the Commander and Overseer at the same time... it is a bit intense but nothing too bad. Once done this mission gets tricky... you must seek out and find Ilsura. I'll explain this the best I can... exit the Commanders room and hang a left. This should put you in a hallway. To your right is where you came from (when u were following the Overseer) to your left should be a curved hallway. Follow this curve ALL the way around and it straightens out into a cave/tunnel. Move up the tunnel and you should see a locked door on your left and water dead ahead. You need to swim into the water and to far end of the room and click on a monolith to unlock the door that was behind you. Once done, proceed through this newly opened door. Follow this path ahead... it splits at once point, left and right, stay to the left. Clear this room (careful, pathing blows in here). Once cleared, click on the chest in one of the cells to unlock another door. Proceed back down the way you came and make a right where I said go left before. A door should be open into a large chamber. Setup on the left side of this room and clear all the mobs you see. Now, if your in the right spot, there should be a water inlet leading to a door and a tunnel. Go down the tunnel and you will find 2 protectors and omg Ilusra! This triggers an event that will despawn Ilsura and you will be attacked by 2 mobs. Kill them both and it will spawn a chest (or 30 of them, lolz). Loot the dagger from the chest. Now, do your loot (it's not too bad but still gimp) and prepare for the coolest portal ever! Head back out, the person with the dagger needs to click on the "orbs" hanging over the water to "activate the Prince's teleportation ring". It's quite a sight.. enjoy. Don't forget to return the dagger to Kelliad to finish the task.

Mission 5: The Rage of Kelliad
Mission Giver: Kelliad
Mission Type: 1-Group
Starting Zone: Stoneroot Falls
Instanced Zone: Temple of Xill

Cheerio! Final mission! This is pretty quick... get your mission from Kelliad and head to good ole Meldrek. He'll port you right back to where you just were. Your mission is easy... confront and kill Prince Drillien. Once in the zone, setup at the portal and pull the Royal Protectors that are in the water. Once your have cleared the water, follow the tunnel into the Prince's chamber. We setup on the left side of the chamber to pull the remaining protectors. The protectors are fairly tough btw, lots of hps and they can pack a punch compared to the rest of this stuff. Anywho... prepare for the final fight... or both of them *wink*. When ready, pull Prince Drillien. He does all sorts of stuff that make him very annoying. He doesn't hit overly hard but he has a TON of hps. Basically, watch his emotes, he will memblur, he will power up, he will power down, he will spawn adds, he will reset himself to 100% health... he does it all. It's a very long fight but not overly hard. Once your done, loot his head and bring it back to Kelliad.

Congrats on completing all 5 missions and getting Reptile Skin!

There is a much easier way to do part 4. Have your group go sit at the zoneline, then have a monk shrink up and invis. Then have him go click the monolith and chest. This will avoid the mass agro you get from all nearby mobs when the monolith is clicked. Once the chest is clicked you can all invis to the room before the princes chamber.

Also, we learned on the 5th fight that the prince will respawn at full health if you don't kill him before his script ends.

You have to move up and trigger the Overseer script then follow him to the Commander reguardless. But what I do now, after repeated runs, is send an invis class to the monolith, click, then have him haul arse back to the Commander room and succor/exo to clear everyone from the hate list. Then invis all the way down to the last room. It seems to put 1 random person in your party on the hate list when you click the monolith, to be safe.. have everyone zone (ie: succor/exo).

The mission is quite easy now, all 3 of my writeups were made on first runs. I actually made these for my guild but after finishing all 3 spells now I decided to help out mah fellow druids.

Consider these as tips, to give you an idea of what to expect. I have no doubt there are easier and faster ways to accomplish these missions. But it's better than going in blind.

Going in blind does bring a little more excitement to the missions too :)
