Ok, so I heard the puzzle of the week on NPR and it is bugging me. Here's the clues:

It is a 5 letter word with 2 syllables that you would see on an advertisement when you're going down the freeway. So presumably a product or company name. The first syllable's meaning is the opposite of the 2nd syllable's meaning. What is the word?

Exxon immediately popped into my head, but that doesn't quite work.
Shell... nope
Conoco... nope
Obviously I'm stuck on gas stations.
Jack-in-the... nope
Pepsi... no

Wait, here's the exact text
"Take a familiar brand name, seen along roads and highways in the United States. It has five letters, two syllables. The first syllable, phonetically, is a word that is the opposite of the word spelled by the second syllable. What brand name is it?"

It was the phonetic bit which was the main clue.

Not that I've actually seen a citgo anywhere in the past, what, 15 years?
