Before I dump Points into them, does our new CH work with the Healing Gift & Healing Adept AA Skils? If not I am going with other AA Skills.

Currently, Healing Adept works, Healing Gift doesn't. If you're routinely healing folks with over 4000 hps, HA will help. Otherwise you'll hit the 75% cap before the 2925 cap anyway.

Funny thing is I can heal a my Ranger buddy, who is only 51 & has little over 2k HP To Full NP with this spell. So I have not seen a 75% Cap.

Tunare's Renewal heals 2925 hitpoints or 75% of your target's total hitpoints, whichever comes first. Healing 75% of total hitpoints can and often does take your target to full health. If you wait until he's below 25% of his health, it won't heal him to full. TR with Healing Adept can heal a bit more than 2925, but it is still capped at 75% as far as I know. If the people you're healing have less than 4k hitpoints, Healing Adept won't help TR because you're hitting the 75% cap first.

Thanks. I usually only use that spell when on Raids. In a group it is good enough alone.

Oh, the cap is definitively there, but you're thinking about it in the wrong way. it doesn't stop at 75%, it heals up to 75% of the total hit points, so if you have 2k hp and have 1 hp as TR lands, you'll have 1501 hp afterwards. if you have 500 or more, you'll be healed to full.

I wouldn't spend any points in HA just yet. We don't know if they are going to keep it working with TR or if it's just a bug.

So crit heals cannot work on NR?

Nature's Recovery is a Heal over Time spell and will not crit with Healing Gift.

I did some tests a while back, wanting to find out whether Tunare's Renewal crits or not.

I had Healing Gift 1 at the time, which is a 3% chance of a crit.

I did 100 casts of it on self, with no damage on me, and it didn't crit at all.
Then I did 100 casts of the level 19 heal, Healing, as reference spell and it crited 4 times.

Then I epic dotted myself and cast Tunare's Renewal on self, healing an average of 300 damage per cast. I did 70 casts of that, and no crits.

This leads me to this theory:

1) Tunare's Renewal is exempt from crits.

or

2) Tunare's Renewal begins to crit when the 2925hp healing cap is reached, ie. when the target has more than 3900hps total and the 75% rule doesn't apply anymore.

I have heard talk on the serverwide.eqdruids channel that some druids have gotten it to crit, but it was always someone they know that did it.

So I hope that over time that I will get this spell to crit, thus proving theory 2 correct.
