Tonite was kiting in a Hive mission, and got a few adds.... hit Exodus and got

"The portal collapses before you can escape!"

... so died, instead of evac'ing.

Did I miss something, a patch or... ? I have used Exodus 100s of times and have never seen that before.

I know Lesser Succor always has a chance to leave someone behind... but I always assumed AA Exodus was 100% gtg.

All evacuation type spells have an innate chance to fail (I think it's 2%) for each group member. It's very rare to see, but it happens sometimes.

Seems so, that would be my guess anyways. I remember a cleric in group calling herself fat because he would almost always miss evacs. Turns out she didn't realize that most of the times the evac was going off she was DA'd ><

My exodus failed once at POStorm. So I confirm it happens.

No. A 2% chance of failing doesn't make you lucky for succeeding lol, it only makes you lucky if you fail! :P

My personal favorite is hitting exodus, dieing anyway, landing at my bind point... then the evac goes off and i'm at the soulbinder in PoK. that makes me so angry.
