So...I decided that I'd like to try out the Plane of Storms to work on picking up some parchments...any suggestions on what I should look to accomplish in there?

If you have Command of Tunare, you can charm kill loroks past the giant fort. Parchments aren't common from them, but they are known to drop. In addition it's great exp if you're lvl 63-65.

Thanks for the info, Dayuna. Is there possibly another zone/loc that might be better for finding parchments? And for PoS how many of the mobs that I have to go through are going to be summoning nasties? Will cammo keep me safe on my way through?

As long as you hug the wall on the way there you should be oor of anything KoS. Giants will summon, but you can pretty much stay away from them. Nothing is social with the frogs except other frogs. You don't start KoS to anything in the zone afaik except the giants and maybe the loroks.

Better for parchments is BoT, get groups there and take out the named guys there. Also random on some trash iirc.

Etheral Parchment spells are commonly available for cheap in the bazaar, esp on CT.

lvl 61-62 spells sold for 50-500pp each when I was looking for them, might be different thoughm depending on your server's economy.

I'm really hoping to get my 63 spells....Command of Tunare costs roughly 15k on CT :o( I did a search on the bazaar for parchments and nothing that I was looking for came up

Parchments are no drop, the spell reward for them is tradeable. In the bazaar or PoK, you have to look for people shouting about selling them. Know that if you just find the parchment sellers it may not yield the desired spell.

yeah, I know it is completely random...just need to get started on these darn spells. I purchased a bunch of them that were within reasonable price (to me) on the bazaar...but that leaves some gaping holes in my spell book and only one fiscally feasible way to fill them

PoS frogs can't drop spectrals (63-64 spells), only ethereals.

If you want to be able to solo for spectrals as a bazaar-level druid, HOH is the place. In the SE basement, the last room has 4 Valorian Guards that can drop spectrals. Maybe 1 parchment in 50-60 kills or so. Not the greatest drop rate, but very easy XP, and in the bonus range up to level 66 or 67.
