I was curious if Druid's are able to crit their mini-Ch (karana's renewal).. either at all (with reg crit healing aas) or with some special AA that allows that particular spell to crit. Thanks.

None of the incomplete 10 second heals that we have crit, Ancient Chlorobon with Vishimitar shoulders crits at about 10600 max (all you numbers junkies probably know the exact number ..but who really cares). Clerics are the only class that have their CH crit...thus why they end up getting stuck in those nasty boring chains.

raise your hand if you've loaded this spell in the last year

/doesn't raise

/raise. I used it to main heal Mnat Msha today.

edit: main heal = no clerics or other druids were in zone.

I still tend to keep it loaded but switch it out if the content I am doing hits over 1200 on average.

Even tho its loaded alot, I almost only cast SI.

I only mem it if we're low on healers, and I get stuck on the CH rotation.

I'd rather crit :P

well then... I think that's pretty dumb that only clerics can crit their CHs considering they can also crit their huge hots and reg heals (obviously)...seems clerics really do have a distinct advantage over the other priest classes in the healing department.

I use it when MH, together with skin of reptile, regen and our crappy (lev 60?) single target hot, nature recovery. For me (I only have a 20% healing focus) i think it is still marginally more mana efficient then Chlorotrope, and i dont have SI nor the ancient.
When tank goes down quickly i use Chlorotrope.

No, it never will crit. But I have this memmed almost 100% of the time. I can usually count on being in the CH rot on raids. We are short on clerics and druids carry my guild. =)

I never have it loaded when raiding. When grouping, depending on the content and who my tank is, I *might* load it. But I very rarely use it. SI and Ancient Chloro are my mainstay heal spells.

Oh and HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all our U.S. druids :wavey:

Call me slow to change, but CH and Fast heal are pretty much the only 2 spells I always have loaded, whether in groups or on raids. I haven't done any mana comparisons lately. The reason I've always used CH has been to save mana. I don't use CH a ton anymore, but I do use it for every day healing. Did a creator run this morning; used CH for about 1/3 of the heals I cast. When solo, I dump CH for root or reptile normally.

However, if we get a group HoT in the next expansion, I already know that CH will be traded out for that spell. Group HoT will be much more useful, if the spell is decent.
