That and they been fazing it out of late. Guess they have just been on a rampage of things in EQ they viewed as being bad, regardless if it's been around since the beginning. I'm not surprised.

Besides, how better to ring in a new expansion than with a nerf. ;)

Would have to agree with Tet on this. Harmony has always been our version of CH/Manaburn/75% Slow/True North. I hope Sont can still be harmonied, otherwise him and his friends will be pain to train around WW to get to ToV.

Wouldn't bet on it, Kenuon. Other thread on general forum, test druid said the Chief in CS isn't able to be harmonized. So if that holds true to the live servers, cap is probably around 53 (Not sure on his level, just what someone else mentioned).

It looks like this means either COH chaining past Sonty, or lots of dead Sontalak's in the near future.

I had posted about the Chief and now that I think about it, I got the message from the surrounding Warriors also. I am guessing that the warriors are about 45 or so and they were immune to Harmony.

You can run past Sont on the left side w/o aggro

I think only tree snakes are not immune to harmony now. Wish Verant would do something about their kick tho... ;)

Its an unneeded bull**** nerf, yet again.

I don't think we can complain too much seeing how badly some of the other classes got nerfed in that last patch. I'm more worried about PoP experience/levels.

There's going to be no place to solo if you get 61+ and everything turns green. I rely a lot on soloing to get my experience so that's going to suck. But if I stay 60 what's the point in having PoP? I'm not in an uber guild so...

I heard (yes only heard, going to verify soon) that Harmony liimit is now around lvl 40. It's bad enough that it did not work on many mobs and did not work inside, but now it's going be totally worthless in the 45+ game where we really add value with it.

I just can't wait till World of WarCraf comes out so I can give Verant and Sony the big finger and cancel my 3 accounts + my wife's account and play a game from a company that actually cares about it's players.

Add to the fact that the new raid system does not allow you to select all raid members to loot, so that you can stop the damn ninja looters and it makes you wonder what kind of dumb idiots are actually running Verant/SOE these days. WFT good is a raid group that allows you to select only the leader, group leaders or 9 people to loot items before the corpse opens for all the ninja looters to pillage?

Thanks Sony for making my decision to buy WoW and quite EQ that much easier.

Umm Harmony nerf with a level limit of 40 is 10x the nerf of Manaburn and only slightly less of a Nerf than the Mod Rod one.

The chief is 56. I remember him being even to me last level.

10x the nerf that manaburn was? Hardly. And it's not even close to the mod rod one.

Hehe, no wonder they are putting in area affect rezes for clerics.

Basically, they're just phasing out harmony. I don't see that as a bad thing. It seems to have been in the pipeline for some time now. I just wish they'd come out and say it and let us have something for balance.
