I was just curious what level players are who take part in the Freeport Monster Mission. I know the zone is instanced, but does this Mission take place in front of the Freeport gates? Does the instanced Freeport zone look exactly like the regular Freeport zones, same npc's, shops, etc.
Freeport is always home to all of my characters since I started 6 years ago, so i was just curious what the instanced Freeport zone is like.

I forget what level you become once you zone into the instance. But you have a choice of becoming a healer, enchanter type, rogue and warrior type. The races involved are gnome, troll and dark elf. The mission starts you off landing at the Freeport docks area and the city looks exactly the same. Same shops and NPCs, except now your are KOS. You loot a certain amount of "treasure" on the NPCs you kill to win the mm, an easy win. Fairly amusing since you get to kill those shopkeepers and guards without any faction hits.

(Edit: this is the MM that starts near the docks in ButcherBlock Mountains.)

If I remember correctly the level of the monster mission is 55 when you zone in. Yo have to go to Butcher Block right pass the docks olong the shore till you see a ship. Its a fun mission and you have to loot 30 plunders minimum to win from either a chest or NPC's you have to kill.
Basicly you get to raid Freeport and not worry about dying or faction hits.

I enjoyed this mission...as a Dark Elf it was sweet to run through EFP and kill every guard, merchant, and slacker npc in my path. Too bad the common drop is a pair of so-so chain boots.
