This Thead (http://eqforums.station.sony.com/eq/board/message?board.id=Veterans&message.id=153661) Draws comparisons between Raiding Classes and the amount of epics completed from each class.

While most of the thread relates to various factors.. the Druid Ratop is the following:

Druid 1.5s Completed Serverwide: 1764
Druid 2.0s Completed Serverwide: 473
Druids who go on from their 1.5 to complete the 2.0: 26.8%

I find these numbers interesting becuase according to the aformentioned thread, out of the 16 classes Druids are the 4th LEAST likly to complete the 2.0. Keep in mind, we outnumber alot of other classes, but in raw percentage of Druids who have 1.5 to 2.0 we rank 4th Lowest.

The Lowest Class to complete Epic 2.0? According to this post, it is the Shaman with a mere 12.6 percent of those who complete the 1.5 going on to finish out the 2.0

It is also of interest to note that several people cite Druids being turned away from high end guilds years ago, for the current lack of high end raiding druids typically seen today.

I can not verify these numbers, but I thought I would post them here for debate.

My previous guild employed a whole army of Druids, so maybe the turning away of Druids in the past was a server-to-server thing. About epic 2.0: it may be that certain Anguish guilds that award based on council rather than DKP, which means it's up to that group of people, who may or may not percieve certain epics as valuble, even though that's a load of crap.

Heh, thinking about it, I wonder if the reason most shamans do not complete the 2.0, if it is becuase they are still using Time's Antithesis. (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=24699)

As far as Druids turned away, I do not recall a demand for druids at all really except for maybe our Circle of X Spells in Velious and Luclin, prior to our revamp of our healing Lines sometime during Luclin (when they added in Cholroblast, Nature's Touch and Karana's Rewnal).

I think this changed more toward the inital Planes of Power Release as our spells increased, Preferance for Blessing of the Nine became more common and the increase in our healing power with Nature's Infusion.

I do admit tho, by and large I have seen few high end druids moving around to the point now people are posting looking for Druids. This was not the case years ago.

When you go around high end guild websites and look for what classes they are recruiting, then you see that VERY VERY rarely it is druids. Clerics, warriors, chanters, rogues, wizards, mages..
