So, I just wasted 5 AA getting the first rank of this. Dumb`ol me thought it was passive. Is there even any way to effectively use this dumb skill? The 1 min duration is ok, but the 36 min recast makes it seem useless to me.

See 4 mobs chasing your puller... hit SC and you won't pull aggro very easily when they hit camp. Any situation that you can see adds coming and will have the couple seconds for SC to cast it can be useful. Those 4-5 mob pulls that happen from time to time, SC will keep you safe while blast healing (assuming the group lives).

Yea. What Dayuna said. My problem is remembering to use it. I do however use it on raids on incoming, to toss on hand/suns/immolation.

It's not that big of a difference til you get 4 or 5 levels of it.

balls to the wall dps on parsed mobs like boc make it well worth it. I'm typically number one in casters because anyone trying ends up getting summoned and dying.

worthwhile gimmick imo.

My corpse count would be WAY lower if I had this for all the times I healed on incoming >_<
