I know OoW runes can be obtained solo in Nobles Causway. Is there anywhere to obtain them solo in DoD? The DoD runes don't seem nearly as popular in the bazaar...

yes, the yellow con "named" without a named name that guards the far south west instance in stoneroot (the shyra instance) drops runes and can be soloed with some difficulty.
