Anyone use one, have any good suggestions? I've tried a few, but haven't really been happy with them for various reasons. Currently I just manually copy the files I want to back up onto a DVD, but that gets old, and doesn't restore system files, so I have to go around reinstalling and tweaking everything for days when I have an HD failure.
y current thought is to get an external USB 2 drive (too bad my PCs don't have 1394 ports ;)), and something like Ghost, and just back up both PCs to the drive...

300 gig, external one touch backup (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822144365). Install the companion software, specify the files you want backed up, and then a single button press on the unit will start the backup process for you, and you're good to go.
Failing something like that, I'd recommend an internal hard drive with an external enclosure and something like Ghost =-p
Interesting, thanks... does that handle multiple PCs and keep the backups separate?
Why do you suggest an internal HD for Ghost?

I use a second internal hard drive and the built-in Windows Backup, scheduled to run every morning. It's not the most elegant solution but it does the job.
