If Volgan Dransed at the Academy doesn't show up on your FIND list, click off the "ONLY SHOW DESTINATIONS I CAN USE" button at the bottom of the FIND window.

Also, if you're halfling, you can just sneak and be able to buy.

Thanks so much Fenier!!

Are there any more PoR port spells for Druids?

Lady Usher, The one who gives the PoR armor set quests, in Archstone also sells quills and parchments. So you can buy these for the scribe without having to zone back into Freeport.

What is good about our port spells to Arcstone is that we are back in the action of having to port the evil classes to Arcstone becuause its difficult for many of them to get to Arcstone since they are KoS in WFP. The bad part is im spammed in constant tells can u port to Arcstone.

I don't have POR but I guess shroud goblin rogue form also works?

Whats so good about having to be a port Ho again? They need to make a stone for Arcstone or add a guild portal gem.

I have no intention of becoming a bus driver again.

I about go postal on anyone who thinks druids are port hoes. Often times I will have them meet me somewhere, then show them how to run to the zone lol. Or explain to them how the magus works after we meet there when they wanted a port to Natimbi. Or meet at the Nektulos stone when they needed port to US (before US guild hall port got put in).

Guild hall needs a stone for porting to Arcstone badly. I forgot how much I hated porting people - lol.

I disagree, people can run the entire 2 zones.

If my zone times to PoK weren't so ridiculous I would agree with telling people to just run there, but if their zone times are same as me going into PoK no one should have to mess with that. Just built a new system last month: amd 64 x2 4800+ (dual-core), 2 gigs ram in dual channel, 10k rpm raptor SATA hd, cable internet and PoK still can take 1min+ or worse.

Yeah, my computer is almost identical to Kaidman's, and PoK sometimes takes abnormally long to load for me as well--it seems to vary from about 30 seconds to 90 seconds, while other zones are much more consistent and typically between 10 seconds and 30 seconds. (This started with the PoR release.)

That said, with the magus in the guild lobby, zoning into PoK shouldn't be necessary for most people that are running to Arcstone.

I do everything in my power to avoid PoK. I lag bad on zoning no where in EQ but in there.

Heck, when people ask me for a port from PoK I ask them to meet me at the SRO LDoN camp Magus instead of PoK.

I too hate zoning into PoK. I got the Secondary Recall AA just so I could stay bound outside of PoTime for guild raids and have my secondary bind in GL. So I can now avoid PoK about 90% of the time.

I don't mind porting/helping people as long as I'm not busy. Nine times out of ten they'll pay me between 100 to 500 plat for a ride.... easy money for a few minutes of my time. :elfbiggri
