Hi Everybody,

I'm fairly new to EQ (started in late November 2005) so about 7 or 8 months as of this posting. I have had serious alt-itis as the game fascinates me and i want to see everything and try everything. I have a full inventory of of characters on Stromm, one on FV and a bunch on the sleeper. But I have realized I need to narrow it down so I chose my druid on Stromm as my main. I do have a de nec and a troll shaman that I also spend my time with there. But I have recently been serious about increasing my druid. I've gone from level 20 - 26 in the past week or so. I've been focusing on keeping my skills up as well. Most of my skills are capped, or close to it, for my level. Divination is still low (around 50) and my melee skills need work (except for 1HS, that's getting there).

I went with my druid as my main choice since I enjoy playing him and he also seemed to be the best choice for seeing stuff. I love being able to zap around from place to place and move quickly.

As far as gear goes I'm untwinked for the most part. A friend of mine who's been around since the beginning gave me some gear (acryilia tunic being the best) and some plat but I've saved the plat for down the road. I have managed to make a couple of thousand plat with my characters through farming & the bazaar. I have also bought some upgrades in the bazaar using the plat I've made. I have completed all of my home town newbie armor quests and I'm using that blended with some of the upgrade stuff I've found. I'm also about to start the last two POK newbie quests. I am looking forward to doing more quests for gear & such. One day I hope to raid but for now I'm happy exploring and checking stuff out.

I've mainly solo'd through this. I have found groups hard to get. Probably because I haven't spent a lot of time in PC or Kurns. I did get into some groups there and in gloomingdeep but that's about it. Everything else has pretty much been solo. I'd like to group more and learn about the druid's role in the group. For now though it's mainly been root rotting with some kiting thrown in.

So I just wanted to stop by and say hi. I'll probably throw a gear check up soon. If you have any recommendations let me know. And if you're on stromm and see a halfling druid named Saibbo stop and say hi.
