With the new expansion comes level 75, which means a new class title.

Anyone want to guess what Sony will come up with for us, or anyone have a good suggestion?

I heard from a buddy that we were going to be Nature Walker - but it didn't make sense to me, since I thought that was already a class title of ours.

New class titles are being debated by the devs in beta as we speak. If you want to suggest one, post here in the next day or two and I will send it along to them.

Nature Guardian, Earth Guardian

I really like Nature Guardian, and would certainly support that being the choice. Obviously it is very close to our current Natureguard and though I would consider it an "upgrade", some may argue that it is not a significant boost in the evolution of the class title (if progression is a purpose of titles at all? I stopped being able to tell after kunark).

Does anyone else have objections to our title? In addition to thinking it is too close to our previous Storm Warden (which I never liked), I don't feel it portrays the spectrum of our abilities and, more importantly imo, our all encompassing relationship with Nature. Please tell me if I am out of line in wanting to push for a change. For some reason, I just don't want my title to be 20% of players' surname.

Stormcaller was recommended from one of the posters on this Forum. Personally, I like it. Our last title - Natureguard, sounds more protective. Stormcaller goes back toward the agressive side of Druid Nature.

I must admit that I also like Stormcaller.

It was my suggestion, so goes without saying that I like it :grin:

y thought was pretty much exactly as Fenier stated. Our last title was more on the nurturing protective side of our nature. This one swings back toward our more aggressive side. We do call down rains and lightning, so it's fitting in that sense.

We're never going to find one word to all encompass a Druid or one everyone likes, we're so diverse. It is nice to swing back and forth between our different sides though :)

Great.. Every berzerker in the game is gonna rush to level 75 just to be able to say, "I'm the Juggernaut, *****!"

Personally, I don't care what our title is, no one ever really looks at it anymore since they added the class name in parenthesis at the end, people stopped paying attention to what they were. Not to mention our "title/surname" are more visible and I would rather get a new title for leveling that can be displayed at all times.

Reading through posts I liked Glade Sentinel, until I got up to the Storm Caller post. Definetly like Storm Caller better.

However, with all our spells and the new wolf form, wish there was a way to work the word "wolf" into our title. Maybe Glade Wolf, or Lupine Prowler or something lol I dunno not feeling very creative right this second. I can live with Storm Caller though. Had no issues with Natureguard, liked that one.

Whatever it is I really feel that the word "earth" should NOT be in it. Loathe our 2.0 prefix title, would hate to see anything similar as our class title. I have this hangup about the word earth being used in eq lol. Call me crazy. I know it's referring to soil and not the planet but on Earth we only call the soil earth cause it's what makes up the planet Earth. So, technically I don't think there should even be an element of "Earth" at all. Dirt should be called dirt or soil or ground. Or perhaps refer to the soil, dirt, ground that make up Norrath as norrath. So would be fire, air, water and norrath. But guess that's another discussion all together lol.

For now I'm all for Storm Caller unless we can work the word wolf in there somehow.

And yes, zerkers got lucky, juggernaut is really cool for a zerker. Lucky zurkers get cool title and an awesome axe. =P

I agree with Tilerin, I feel we are more than weather vanes, we are protectors of nature. Narrowing us down to just the storm/weather aspect of our abilities doesn't encompass all that we are.

Stormcaller, I like it -- being one of those Karana worshipping types!

I also think its too close to Storm Warden. Would of been nice to have it a little more orginal
