I was lucky enough to get a group in Direwind Cliffs last night and have a question for those who are familiar with the "Son of Severan" camp. My tank kept asking for a cure to what he called "bad Malo." I used Radiant Cure, Cure Disease, Cure Poison, (ya ya I need to do Pure Blood quest still) and RGC and nothing seemed to work. I wonder if the tank wasn't paying attention and the cure somehow worked. But in the case he wasn't, does anyone know the name of detrimental spell the mobs are casting and how to cure it? Could it be related to the new Cure Corruption spell?

Likely a determintal effect that Radiant is not strong enough to cure.

Resplendant or Cascade should clear it.

Name of debuff is "Malis" and I could not remove via Resplendent Cure.
Casted Annul Magic after RC and that wiped it right off.

But for that matter, wouldn't Annul Magic remove a beneficial buff if the Malis isn't in the first slot?

Yes.

Cascade also removed the effect, which is the upgrade to Res Cure line AA.

Malis is the upgrade to malo/malonsi err whatever the shaman get that can only be cured via AA cures. Makes sense that the TSS one needs the TSS A cure ;)
