I was working on a quest and knew what points I needed to visit, so I thought I'd mark the points on the map. I'd never tried to edit a map, but how hard could it be, right? Yeah, right.

One of the points was /loc -10, +325, so I opened direwind_2.txt and appended this entry to match the format for the existing entries:

P -10.0000, 325.0000, 0.0000, 240, 0, 0, 2, Dead_Hill

When I entered the zone I found the point I added was indeed on the map, but not at the right location. That is, when I went to the point and hit /loc it was not the expected location.

Anyone have a link to some sort of EQ Mapping for Dummies? I'm having a hard time finding any reference material on the subject.
