AHAHAH call me slacker .. i prolly exaggerate some, but i am at the point that i think i do almost more damage getting a panther/champion, wunshi, haste ac debuffing the mob and just autoattacking (with dome decent proc) then nuking =).
NEVER using equinox nor pure life .. just not worth it imo.. few crits and more fizzles

I rarely get a fizzle on either after i raised casting skills to max again. My main form of damage in group settings these days is using Icefall with Cloudburst and Winter's Storm

hmm yes .. i have 2 procs on my hammer+ 400 proc from spell .. something procs almost every hit= every second.
All procs crit, for up to 1750.
Somewhat decent dps, no need to cast =)

I've tried Hammer of Hours with proc aug added + panther + bard - to raise melee skills while exping in a dps heavy group. It's fun for a while but still doesn't compare to cast dps.

Time lapse proc will do ~50 dps. Panther will do ~70 dps (on a druid w/ destructive fury maxxed.) A 175 proc aug will do ~15 dps. If you have high CE, these values may be higher.

Unhasted druid melee with epic is ~15 dps, with panther and 100% haste (item+buff haste cap) that would be ~33 dps.

In total, looking at about 170 dps meleeing from a druid. I'm not exactly sure how mana flare works with priests procs atm, but when manaflare came out a cleric using time hammer would get the 7 proc limit away in under 10 seconds (cleric hammer procs a lot more than ours.) But when they removed they limit on mana flare, they changed things around - it may only proc off of panther and spells for us now /shrug dont know really.

Eitherway, if you're grouped with a shaman, bitch to them about malo`ing and just nuke~

Both Equinox Burn, and Pure Life will give you higher average totalsthen the Omens verison, if my math is correct.

I think mana flare procs off of both panther and stormblade for reference Kamion.. some zerkers go ape**** over the boost to dps by having those 3 plus an aa proc disc and those 2 buffs in particular proc flare for them so should for all. Think it just needs to be a proc via a spell buff rather than an innate worn proc.

bard proc (for 100) triggers manaflare (700) while champion doesnt i think
both can crit .. i hit more once a second hasted and with bard overhaste, and it procs almost every hit with direfocus and enc haste and ranger buffs ... (got 2 procs on weap 750 175, max melee skills, capped stats, have +150 atk +30 accuracy i think ... 2K atk or so)

so almost every second i see something proc ..
have no parse but was pretty impressive

When i''m just strictly DPS in a group and i have a shammie i always pop out the HoH and turn auto attak on while chain nuking. Provides some extra DPS while spell gems are resetting.

When i'm healing i'll also toss a few nukes in and melee inbetween heals.

Theft of Thought works quite well nowadays .. seems that only OOW mobs are OOM =) I use constantly since DoD and often i recharge 300 mana (every few seconds). Many casters i proc so often they get OOM =) Fast killing groups improve its effectiveness, as you suck dry more mobs per minute =)
Worked really well in Nest for example, i could solo-MH the entire mission nonstop without oom.
