So throughout the years Druids have had a number of HP buffs and people asking for them in some fashion or another. Lets take a looksie at what we've had and how we've been asked to provide the buff.

Skin Like Wood - Wood, Gimme some wood baby!, skin
Skin Like Rock - rock, skin
Skin Like Steel - steel, skin
Skin Like Diamond - HP PLZ!, skin
Skin Like Nature - SLN, skin
Protection of the Cabbage - Cabbage, POTC, 9, skin
Protection of the Glades - Cabbage, skin
Protection of the Nine - 9 plz, skin
Steeloak Skin - Oak, 10, skin
Bleesing of Steeloak - Who's MGB is up?, skin

So thats been our history for the most part. Some of what we've been asked for makes sense - some doesn't. I know I'm a bit late on this but the latest expansion gave us 5 new levels and 2 new spells...

Direwild Skin
Blessing of the Direwild

What I'd like to do as a community is to make our mark and call our own rules. We ought to be able to have our own nickname for what people start asking us for.

Start asking people to say "Hasslehoff" or "Hoff" if they want the new HP buff.

If it catches on serverwide - we can all have our little laugh knowing that we were a part of it. Thats excellent for the community and I'm pretty confident that we can do it.

Make a little mark in EQ history.

Who's with me?

People are lazy and thus dont want to type alot. Its easier to type "/t <druid> 10 plz" then it is to type something longer. So odds are 11 will end up the next generation, however if you have another 2 character solution i'd be willing ot take it up.

I hate 11 and I wont buff someone asking for 11.
Most people in our guild ask for skin, dire or direskin.

fizzleoak? =)

:texla::texla: The fizzle rate on these new spells is ewww.

In my guild they ask for skin or direwild. I have been asked for Direwind as a buff before and i memmed my zephyr and sent them to Direwind. They soon learned the name of the buff..hehe.

I haven't been asked for any of those yet... I'm not high enough to cast them... <GRIN>but I generally insist on people being a little more coherrent when asking me for buffs on any of my buffers... PLZ does not cut it with me... And people asking my Enchanter for C6?? I have no idea what C6 is... Last C I remember is C2 for Clarity 2 After that there are no more "Clarity" Spells... they all have different names... KEI is understandable enough...

Mostly hear DWS or DW. Once I heard 11. I have a hotkey that buffs people and lets them know that their buff is inc (so they can be in range, not have group buff on) and I use the nickname I prefer. All I can do is hope. If the most popular name turns out to be 11  oh well.

I get dire, DW, 11, sometimes skin (I think skin because many don't know what to call it yet or don't know IF you have DW).

The druids in my guild are pushing for DW.

But I love the zephyr idea if the use direwind and not direwild, lol.

Mine are too lazy to change their hot keys and still ask for Oak :bs:

We've been trying to get people to call it "skin" - since that has been in a lot of the names of individual buffs for the whole line, however, when I get a tell that asks, "Can i get some skin?" my reaction is always "/highfive".
