Seems a little too good to be true... but if it were, how could we slip Omega-3's into the food supply of everyone in the Middle East?

I take Omega-3... there's plenty of fight left in me! :D

I didn't see that movie, worth it?

I'm not a big Sci-Fi fan, nor am I a fan of Joss Sweedon (Buffy the Vampire writer/creator) but I liked Serenity a lot. It's definately worth a video rental at the very least.

I highly recommend the Firefly series on DVD as well (which I assume you can also rent). While Serenity did a decent job of introducing the major characters and their backgrounds, you'll get even more out of the movie having watched the series first. It's only 14 episodes, and well worth setting aside part of a weekend for. :)

The primary protein source for Vikings was fish. Including rich in omega-3 herring. I don't seem to recall them being peaceful. =P

I think so, but I can not say for sure because I do not know what you do and do not like in a movie.
It is made by Joss Whedon, but it is not much like Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The movie was quite intelligent and had several layers of plot. Quite a bit of disturbing violence in it. Not pulling his emotional punches in this movie. And it is science fiction which may or may not be something you like.
On the chance that you want to see the movie I am not going to spoil the plot, there are some surprises in it that are best watched unaware the first time...

I cannot recommend Firefly and Serenity enough.

You should watch the episodes before you see the movie though. Serenity the movie is stand alone, but you'll get more of a investment into the characters if you watch Firefly first, and then watching Serenity will be that much more rewarding.

I hated Buffy, by the way. All my RL fellow nerds and geeks love it. No idea why. My youngest uncle (about 10 years older than me) a big scifi fan, also inexplicably loves Buffy and Angel. It makes no sense to me. To me, Buffy, Charmed, or any other teenybopper sh1t is inferior to watching grass grow.

Firefly was pretty good, IMO the series was better then the movie though. the movie just seemed like he was annoyed and wanted to kill off half the cast lol.

I love Firefly and Serenity too. Firefly more than the movie as you get so much more character interaction. I agree that the movie should be seen after watching the series, it will be more enjoyable that way. Blockbuster used to have the series for rental, I'm assuming they still do. It's an addicting show if it connects with you so if you like the first couple of episodes you might just want to purchase the series.

Same here. My wife loved both Buffy and Angel and I will never ever understand why. I honestly tried to watch them on several different occasions and it is beyond me why anybody would like those shows. When my wife drug me to see Serenity I thought it would be the same song and dance but I was pleasantly surprised.

I liked Buffy. No real clue why. I guess maybe the idea of vampires running around some town is fun. I think it took itself a little too seriously though. The film it was based on was entirely different, very over-the-top and fun.

I liked Buffy. I thought it had good character based humour which probably went right past anyone who wasn't into it.
