Kind of cool, in a strange, un-realish way.

I hope it means that i'll soon get a magical wand and be able to cast some spells.

P.S.. I know the title is spelled wrong.. It's just the way i pronounce Halloween :-)

Very good for hiding from microwaves... not so good hiding from your spouse with a to-do list. :p

What I like most about reading about these things is the armchair scientist community that crops up with experts stating its obviously impossible, impracticle or a total waste of time. Then there are the other self proclaimed experts stating the over-the-top things this new stuff will do.

Now, while tuning these metamaterials for the microwave range is cool and all, the impressive thing will be tuning them for the visual light spectrum. I also wonder if they can be tuned for dangerous radiation for like radiation shielding on a spacecraft. After all, when I finally get that one way ticket off the planet, I don't want to die of radiation poisoning or have a swiss cheese brain from gamma particle bombardment.

And here I thought being bombarded with Gamma rays simply made you cool, green, and huge...
