I thought I was doing good but...
I found 'diamond' (the purple one - no idea what blue for if anything
think I have the pattern off the ship
The reason for the cannon
the silly pattern thing just colored one of the 'faces'
but I'm missing something cause
still the 9 switch thing
the 5 colored thing seems useless
is blue shell for anything
any clues?

I had a go at this for a while, but ran out of time
blue diamond found an obvious home, didn't manage to find the purple one (despite digging 4 holes on every island... I wonder if you need to dig in the right spot despite the seeming 4 hole limit?)
Didn't get the right order of the bones to create a climbable path, or get on to the cannon. Didn't make it to the ship, either. These things have a way of just eating time :)

Never found a diamond purple or otherwise. Still digging on sandy islands, though. I found you can enlarge the holes you start, but nothing comes out so far.
I managed to stack the bones on the lumpy thing just right to get to the telescope, but I don't know what the view through the telescope means yet.
Cannon, unknown. Unless you shoot yourself to that ship in the distance.
Found a box with a conc shell cutout but the shell doesn't do anything there.
Fiddled with the mirrors and light house (gives off colored lights). Matching the colored balls to the lights doesn't seem to make anything happen. I also tried sorting them to match the stone gateway thingys.
Sandcastle - ?
Easter Island heads - ?
9 3-way button box - ?
colored lines on paper - ?
Back to digging.
EDIT: Great, you can dig 4 holes and enlarge them on each island. This is going to take some time. Diamond found (blue).
I figured out the purpose of the telescope now.
You would think that the shell is to be applied similarly to the diamond but its box won't take it.

Speaking of puzzles, this puzzle from the Netherlands *should* be easy.

You have 60 seconds to find the three differences between the two pictures. Of the 8000 people tested so far, only 19 have found all three.
I only found one :ohwell:

How quaint.
Now, about the real puzzle. It reminds me of Myst, Riven and they made a third one. Weird puzzles. Hardly any clues and creepy, depopulated islands.
Things that helped me:
I didn't see the coconut until much later.
The green triangle floaty thing is a sound puzzle. You need to touch them in the right order three times in a row.
The colored buttons pattern is revealed when you do the floaty shape puzzle.
The diamond machine is solveable when you figure out the use for the cannon.
The totem/stone gates puzzle is just weird. I had to go find a hint for it and even then it took a long time for me to figure out. The important thing is the tile shapes and how they associate with the color on the gateways near them not the pattern on the totems.
The blue shell is a red herring.
There is a sequel to it.
The tile shapes did the trick. Thanks.
However, I got the volcano into action and watched to see what might happen. After a minute I clicked on a 'dust cloud' and off I went. Was that it? I didn't get any 'you win' message. Possibly you have to pick a certain cloud? didn't have time to run thru it all again and try, maybe the 1st cloud.
EDIT: Ok - I float along on this cloud forever. Is that the end?

Yup, that's the end...until you try the sequel, which is quite a bit longer. :)

Done 2 of the three. I think I messed up the timing of the bells. This one is gonna take a bit of time.

My head hurt doing the second one. I did manage to get all the door islands lowered so I can go to any of the worlds, but I couldna take any more.
OMG!!
The second one was a bit tedious. When I get time I'm gonna run through it again to see how fast it can be done now that I know (errr... if I remember) what needs to be done.
Even with help from those hints and some other forum hints. Most of the hints are so porely written they were useless, lol. Guess they expect you to know what they already knew to undersdtand them. I obviously did things in a different order.

Its almost as if the puzzles were created with the idea of how to make them as incongruous as possible. Its said to be a logic puzzle, but seems more like an exercise in illogicallness. Is that a word? Anyway, great game if you like that sort.
