Of this.

Being alive inside your twin's body, for 36 years of your life.

Fetus in fetu:

Until doctors finally kill you and put you out of your misery.

You'd think he would've gotten that checked out earlier. I realize it's India, but really, talk about a red flag.

I do wonder if it had a brain, or was just a random collection of organs.

[Edit] Eh never mind, I think I found the answer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fetus_in_fetu):Invariably the parasitic fetus is anencephalic (without a brain) and lacks internal organs, and as such is unable to survive on its own, though it may have almost human (albeit underdeveloped and bizarre) features such as limbs, digits, hair, nails and teeth.I guess the only one harmed is the host after all.

Huh...that's remarkably similar to the origin of Jonas Venture Jr. on The Venture Bros.

Well, in this particular case, perhaps maybe.

And they were Indian docs. Its not like they are going to broadcast that the twin had a brain, or anything. American docs would not even say that, publically.

edit: I thought your link was from the the story. It is from a general Wiki(not like I am dissing Wiki /wink).

Neuro development usually occurs before many other systems do, in most fetuses. I think that tossing that idea out, out of hand, is mainly denial.

Here's a video (http://djstelios.wordpress.com/2006/07/28/fetus-in-mans-stomach) with pictures of the extracted fetus. Interesting.

You know that feeling when you touch something really nasty that you weren't expecting, and you jump back and make a "wrauahgh" sound while wiping your hand furiously? Yeah well if I was that doctor, and I reached inside some guy and suddenly shook hands with something... I'd probably have to go scrub in again cause there'd be no way I could just keep going without wiping my hands really hard. I'd probably also knock quite a few things over as I jump backwards in surprise.
