I know I personnaly prefer the DoTs over regen spells. What does everyone else think?

I rarely use regen (normally just use Aura of Life) so I'm pleased that we finally get an upgrade to 2 major spell lines.

Tanks click off regen to make room for haste, stamina, DS, HP, AC, and ATT buffs. Shaman have the market share with a regen that was 3 hp better than ours. Wasn't using it to raid, wasn't using it to group.

Was using it to solo, so if I took a hit, I could regen while I Rotted or Kited, but really, 12 extra regen doesn't do much under conditions where the mobs are doing significant damage to you or your tank. But if I am going to solo, I think the DoT damage is a worthwhile.

My only problem with Sunscorch is the same one I have with all fire DoT's with a curse element. No stacking DoTs. Stacking Sunscorch with Vengeance of the Sun and Veng. of Tunare, with crit affliction AA's and a nice fire damage focus would be just nasty.

They stack. You just can't cast them directly back to back.

I like the dots we got over the regen we had. I would still like to see a regen in the future that will actually be a decent aid to our healing abilities.
