So awful when people pass away so young.

I JUST found out about this today and I've heard that they are considering continuing with 8 Simple Rules... But they are going to have the father have died in a plane crash. I hope that this is just a rumor because it'd be incredibly bad taste for them to do it. Last week was a horrible week though. John Ritter and then Johnny Cash the next day. :(

I don't see how it could be in "bad taste", and I also am fairly sure they asked the family for their opinion. But yes they are going to finish the show I believe.

I don't know if I should have used "bad taste", but I just don't feel it right to kill a character off when the person who played them actually did die. However, John Ritter might have wanted the show to be very successful so if you look at it that way it doesn't make it as bad.

But I guess that the show got a 9th rule:

9th = Don't die durring sweeps week.
