I finally have been playing Everquest and it's been amazing, especially today! I am a level 8 druid and I grouped up with a necromancer and a bezerker and we dominated everything. Ofcoarse I healed, but I didn't just heal, I gave out the damage shield, I snared and I even nuked the mob abit, I never had so much fun playing a video game! I felt like I could do anything. Playing a druid was a major good choice for me, because it touches everything in the game. I can't wait to get back on and play him again!:)

Glad you are enjoying EQ and the druid class. Remember that there is a wealth of information on these forums, but you may need to go back into some rather old posts or archived areas to find some answers to questions you have, or just ask them in a new thread and someone will answer them.

I don't post much but this site is a great resource. My main character is a druid (halfling) in his mid-50's. I chose the class because I liked the concept and they seemed to be the most self sufficient, especially in terms of exploring.

I haven't regretted the choice at all. The more I play the more I love my druid. There have been some rough spots, usually the level before a really nice new spell :> ), but I've been able to do a variety of things and keep it exciting.

And as far as exploring, it's been great. Being new to EQ when I started my character I wanted to see as much as I could. And with this character I've certainly done that, and continue to do so. It's just fun!
