I have a Handspring Visor PDA. Currently I'm using Outlook to synchronize my contacts and calendar, but there are some quirks about Outlook that I don't like.

Does anyone know an alternative contact/calendar management program that will synchronize with the Visor? The Visor desktop isn't that great in my opinion. What I'd like is one that will let you directly print rolodex cards with contact information on it. It shouldn't be that hard. I can't believe Outlook can't do that, but it can't without some complicated exporting to Word and all - more trouble than it's worth actually.

Anyone got a suggestion of a different program to try? Thanks :)

I'd always heard of sales people using something called ACT. That's all I know about it though.

Never looked in to it, I can do what I need to do for stuff like that with my 2 y/o cell phone.

Check out Lotus Notes and Netscape Communicator...Not Navigator, but Communicator. After all the bs Netscape gave Microsoft about their software on computers, I hope they have at least kept up with mail clients. There are probably some other ones, try a web search for visor or PDA mail clients. "visor mail client".

I will check it out real quick and see if I can find some links. I never messed with PDA's before, so be WARNED MUWAHAHAHA.

*Just did a web search for PDA mail client. I got 16 hits on Google. Couple probably have no useful information, but if you're desperate, it might be worth a try.

Also, if you bought it in a store, give them a call or go in. The salesman might...MIGHT have a clue. Also try the manufacturers web site. Might have information directly on the web site, or maybe there is a free way to contact their support. What versions of what software is out there and supported is generally a standard thing for tech support to know. If they don't know off the top of their head, they probably have something to get it from pretty quickly.
