Thank you,

I have been getting these in all my Gmail accounts for the past few days. Please warn your grandmas and dads, and any other net unsavvy people not to buy into these ID theft schemes. I can see a bunch of grey haired people getting scammed with it.

The site it takes you too, is an EXACT copy of Paypals site. With all the links even going to real Paypal links,,,all except the logon link that takes you to an CC and ID submit webpage.

Gmail did, in one of these, in only one of my accounts, delete the message with its phishing philter. But they are still coming.

Three things I always tell net-unsavvy people about e-mail: (1) Don't click on any links; (2) Don't open any attachments; (3) Don't reply unless you know the sender.

That protects them from most phishing scams and viruses.

I also think Outlook's junk e-mail filter is getting better at picking out this crap; I haven't gotten a phishing scam in over a year.

I get 1-2 paypal scam emails a month to both my gmail and yahoo accounts. I forward them to paypal and then delete. Its gotten to the point where im about to just start deleting.

Good warning though, I know my mom was freaking out when she got this email.

Mom - HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE??! I dont even own a paypal account!
