Now the cool thing is that people have to spend 30K on camera systems.

Great if you own a company that puts them in, or work for one. /old wave.

But that 30K gets passed on to every shopper in that store, bit by bit.

Store by store.

When people do disgusting selfish things to one another, I have to remind myself that not everyone is like that.

But that 30K gets passed on to every shopper in that store, bit by bit.Better than $30 million getting passed on to every shopper.

That store would have had to pay a lawyer 30K just to take a piss.

Not to mention, the more scams like this that are uncovered, the more opinions will change about the merits of lawsuits and the need for tort reform.

When people do disgusting selfish things to one another, I have to remind myself that not everyone is like that.Perhaps, but thanks to people like Aidon we make sure the disgusting, selfish types are the most handsomely rewarded.

I like this store owner!

To make this case perfect, though, the store owner needs to charge her a bill for:

1. Employee time spent cleaning up the intentional spill of olive oil.
2. The bottle of olive oil.

The woman that did this is simply pathetic. However, like Tuda said, each case of this edges us closer and closer to the tort revolution, where losers pay everything.

I still say take the warning labels off, and let the problem solve itself.

Anyone who needs the following warning labels to keep them out of trouble doesn't need to be participating in society. At all.

"Keep hands and feet away from blade. " -- Any lawnmower.
"Do not ingest." -- Preparation H.
"Do not open while in flight." -- On an airplane's emergency release door.
"Warning: This package might contain peanuts." -- On a bag of peanuts.
"Recycled flush water unsafe for drinking." -- On a toilet at a public sports facility in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
"Do not drive with sunshield in place." -- On a cardboard sunshield that keeps the sun off the dashboard
"Do not eat toner." -- On a toner cartridge for a laser printer
"Eating rocks may lead to broken teeth." -- On a novelty rock garden set called "Popcorn Rock."
"Caution: Hot beverages are hot!" -- On a coffee cup.
"Do not use for drying pets." -- In the manual for a microwave oven.
"Warning: knives are sharp!" -- On the packaging of a sharpening stone.
"Caution: Remove infant before folding for storage." -- On a portable stroller
"Product will be hot after heating." -- On a supermarket dessert box.
Do not attempt to stop the blade with your hand." -- In the manual for a Swedish chainsaw.
"Do not use orally after using rectally." -- In the instructions for an electric thermometer.
"Do not put in mouth." -- On a box of bottle rockets.
"Remove plastic before eating." -- On the wrapper of a Fruit Roll-Up snack.
"Remove used tampon before inserting a new one" --Tampax Tampons.

We are ruining the human race with these warnings! Someone stop the madness, before it's too late! :banghead:

To make this case perfect, though, the store owner needs to charge her a bill for:And the local government needs to charge her for those paramedics. I bet that whole ER trip cost the taxpayers 10, 20K at least.
