was Karana's renewal changed recently ? i was bored in a group yesterday healing in Valdeholme so memmed it and started using it to heal. I noticed it was healing for +6k each time i thought healing AA's didnt effect our CH's ?

You were healing a Paladin using their Aura which increases the amount of healing done.

A Similar effect can be seen with any clicky which has Circle of Life.

Circle of Life I will make KR heal for 6037~ (give or take a few percent) with max adept.

Negative, i did NOT have a paladin with me, my group make up was warrior, rogue, enchanter, wizard, necromancer and druid(me). we was the only people in zone. and no, none of us had circle of life clicky either. our CH got changed. it now heals for +6k , guessing its cause of healing adept since its maxxed. too bad crit still dont effect it. heh i dont recall healing adept ever effecting it but its nice now. we can almost be in a CH chain. lol take off that clicky, try it without your clicky, your healing about what i'm healing for.

Tested it myself - does 6037 now

4680 x 1.29 = 6037.2. The spell didn't change, your Healing Adept AAs did. (Healing Adept AAs have always affected our percentage heals.)

Cept if the cleric has healing adept AA their CH is far beyond 7500 ;p

I never would have guessed they adjusted the percentage wrong.

Circle of Life doesn't list percentage heals on it's limit fields, so I figured it would work. Granted I've never actually cast the spell since I got a Circle of Life click, but ya know how that works.

From 5990 to 6037...it still sucks lol. Only 47hp more, doesn't help too much.

meh considering when i last cast it (before i got healing adept aa's) i consider it a HUGE upgrade, it used to heal only in the 4k range, i like the change. lol
sure may be slower casting than our fast heals but for fights where u dont need fast heals ,this heals better. our fast heal dont heal for this much except on crits. and since lower level, less mana used. i use both heals now, adjusting for what heal works best in each situation.

Because the only situations where it's worthwhile to use KR is against mobs that cast negative heal potentcy percent debuffs (such as XTC's.)

But this is an exploit, being that I'm sure KR being of full effectivness while these debuffs are on was an accident.
