I just really hate the way that game discriminates against the casual gamer. I mean, if you play EQ 16 hours a day, the game forces you to enter this boring "sleep" mode for 6 hours. Then you only have two hours, barely enough time to find a group or make some l3wtz.

The anti-lamer code isn't always perfect in this game. For a short time there was a lewt exploit after one of the major PvP events, the Iraq Liberation Quest (which gained some controversy in the "United Kingdom" guild boards, despite the alliance created by the guild leader for the event.) It took quite some time to nerf the exploit and allow GMs into that area to control the ninja lewting.

What can also suck in this game is the concept of "employment". Whilst a brilliant idea generally, sometimes the employment market is incredibly overcrowded and a decent character with good skills in his profession can be forced to solo. Generally someone with an LFE flag will be invited into Employment before long, but it can be quite a depressing process involving carefully submitted applications.

LOL. Nice job of pulling the one to the left without aggroing the black one.

They have a small aggro radius, except at supper time.

I can't afford the gear to get to the plane where there are boss mobs : \

It's that whole LFE thing. I have employment, and strive for much more, it just seems out of reach at times. I keep trying though, and I know, eventually I will be there.

That review was great. I keep waiting for a mmorpg that really is designed after real life. I guess it would be like pvp though. In pvp every evil is an sk, in real life, everyone would be a serial killer, bank robber, or drug dealer. : |
