So when I logged in for the first time after getting SoF, I noticed my forage cap had been upped. I then bouth the forage AA to add another 50 to the cap, bring the max total to 300. Well, I've been foraging my little heart out and got my skill to 252, whereupon the skill value for forage (in my skills window) turned red, and my forage skill simply hasn't gone up in nearly a week now.

Anyone have a similar issue? Or better yet, an explanation? Or best of all, a fix?

Ngreth posted on EQTraders that the increase without getting the AA is a bug. It only happens to wood elves, who are getting a 50 skill increase for a reason they cannot figure out yet. Once it is solved, the extra 50 cap will be removed again and any skill above that will be reset to the cap.

The red number you're seeing is somehow connected to this.

I'd wait until the official fix is in and then see if it's still acting badly on you.

This has been fixed. The extra +50 for woodelves is gone.
