View Full Forums : Druids Get Shafted, AGAIN? (Tracking)

They say the opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference.

From the patch message:

- The tracking window can now be sorted alphabetically and reverse-alphabetically. Also, there is now a check box to set whether you want the tracking window to auto-update every six seconds.

----------------------------

It appears that only rangers get this. Druids (and Bards) don't. What is a slap in the face is that we are apparently so unnoticed that they didn't even bother to mention this. We are just beneath their notice.

"You are the worst pirate I've ever heard of."
"But you have heard of me."

I'm changing my tune. No longer will I say that SOE hates druids. They just are completely indifferent to our existence.

If a druid dies in the forest, does he make a sound? According to SOE, no.

Yeah, its quite sad Fanra, i was hoping, though a part of me knew it was gonna be ranger only. It's quite pathetic imo.

Supposedly druids do get the auto-update checkbox, it's just very hard to see if your UI is set up in certain ways.

I have it I had to transfer the track window from the Default UI over to my normal UI

Being able to sort alphabetically would be nice, but I have no problems with it being a ranger-only skill. They're supposed to better trackers.

I went to the default UI and the tracking window has says "Update automatically" and there's a box to the left of it, but it doesn't seem to do anything when I click on it.

Edit: Nevermind. I switched from my custom UI to the default and for some reason switching UIs in game did not allow the box to render correctly. When I camped with the default UI and loaded my character again, the box changed to being clearly being pressable.

Tracking things at longer range makes one a better tracker.

Being able to spell and create an alphabetical list is beyond a druid's ability? Last I checked I was a caster and wrote spells in a spell book. One would think I could alphabetize a list. According to SOE I guess I can't spell.

QFT!

SOE needs to understand the difference between your CHARACTER having challenges and the PLAYER dealing with frustration.

Struggling with the UI does not show how rangers are better trackers than druids.
