I'm so glad this board is still around! I finally remembered it this morning after a frustrating couple of days in Gulf of Dulak.

Simply put... I don't think I'm doing enough damage and I'm wondering if DOTs have been changed. I'm level 47 and the DOT line up that was serving me very well in my low 30s hasn't gotten any significant upgrades.

Right now I'm using the following DOTs:
Drifting Death (lvl 40)
Creeping Crud (lvl 24)
Immolate (lvl 25)

Are there really no upgrades to Creeping Crud and Immolate for over 20 levels? Or is there something I'm missing?

Any help anyone can offer would really be appreciated!

Thanks, kemidra

the dots do get better, you get some in low 50's. You need to get a burning afffliction item or use tribute to make your dots do more damage.

Ah, ok thank you. I'll look into that. I'm guessing that's what those tribute masters I'm seeing are all about then.

Burning Affliction? Is that an augmentation or something? That's another thing I haven't even begun to figure out yet. :P

Burning Affliction is a 'focus effect'. Some items have this effect.

At your level you need Burning Affliction II or III (II works for spells of level 44 and lower, III works for spells level 60 and lower).
