China is just another example of the "I am altering the deal. Pray I don't alter it any further." that we see every day.
The world revolves around the Golden Rule, "He who has the gold (or might), makes the rules".
China knows that they won't cancel the Olympics or even do anything as far as sanctioning China, so they are just doing whatever they want. It was obvious when they first made all kinds of promises to get the Olympics that they were lying, but everyone just pretended they weren't.
Too many shades of the German 1936 Berlin Games. I'm just waiting for the Chinese Leni Riefenstahl to release a film after the Games are over.
