He was convicted and now very narrowly lost his reelection. I've been watching this with interest wondering if Alaskans would re-elect someone who was taking bribes over a democrat.

Yes, for those who don't remember, this is the "the Internet is a series of tubes" guy. And the earmark king, who for decades stole your money to give Alaskans welfare, making Alaska one of the costliest states in the nation for the federal government to run (http://www.taxfoundation.org/research/show/266.html), with $1.84 spent for every $1 taken in.
Good riddance!
What I can't believe is that a convicted felon almost won the election. Actually, considering the governor is the most absurd political figure I've seen in ages, maybe I can believe that.
