Will husband get home in time to buy Xmen tix before they sell out (Can't buy them online, cause I don't know when he gets home!)? Or will we be relegated to ground target and volley biznatch on a relic raid? We shall see....

I don't think I've had that sort of contact high from watching a movie in a long time. It rocked so hard. Nightcrawler is my new favorite character. :D

Just saw X2. What an awesome movie. It exceeded my expectations. I have to see it in the theaters again.

The story strongly reminds me of X-Men when it first came out in the early 80s. Then, I used to buy issues on the way home from work. (I wonder where I put those comics.) But this sequel has the feel of a few issues in one.

That said, if the content holds true to the old story line then I KNOW what's going to happen in X3: The Mutant Wars. It's going to be even better than X2: more action and emotion packed. Something amazing is going to happen.

Edit: by -> buy

I remember reading Storm's bio flashback when I was 7 or 8. I can't remember the episode number, but it was when she was trapped along with her friends, and she had to pick the locks using her teeth and lockpicks hidden in her headband. LOL

P.S. Fyyr, Matrix Reloaded will be playing at the Metreon IMAX, a highly recommended theater. I try to see movies in that theater when I can, and the Star Wars II IMAX experience was the last IMAX experience film I saw -- it did not disappoint, and it was even better than the theatrical version because all the stupid cheesy dialogue scenes were cut out. ;)

I had an EQ 'friend' diss IMAX for its sound system, and I'm sorry, but the sound in that theater was awesome, even to audiophiles like my hubby and me. Didn't know what the fvck he was talking about. After all the THX techs came down from San Rafael to tune that system.

You wanna see Reloaded there? Come on over!

Heh, Matrix Reloaded at the Metreon will be the hottest ticket in town. Count me in. It's worth the hour's drive north.

Well I won't give it a five/five rating because I reserve ***** for "best of the best" films. But it's a solid ****/***** for its setup and execution. X2 had an energy and urgency that the first didn't have, and while there are a few minor flaws, it's a rock-solid action flick. This is good news for the series, unless the franchise falls into the wrong hands.

thought it was weird how they changed the ending... but fitting. Should have been a shuttle crash that 'killed' Jean Grey if memory serves(been a long time though). They would have taken flak for that after the whole shuttle explosion earlier this year.
