So? All they have to do is not be registered lobbyists.

I looked briefly for rules regarding lobbyists and registering and couldn't figure it out. Anyway, I suspect if you get paid to do the job you must register, but I could be wrong.

Unfortunately, they have been replaced with executives from Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, Lehman Bros., Bear Stearns, JP Morgan on the economic policy panel, Treasury, and stuff.

Well there's nothing new about that unfortunately.

I heard some cool stuff on NPR about this new policy. It sounds like the guy who is handing down this decree is a really froody dude. Norman Eisen. This wasn't the piece I heard but it kind of covers some of the stuff.
