View Full Forums : Pre set Tint color / Texture and coordinates?

I am making "my own" modification of Gedines mixed with various other skins.

My first problem is when I set the coordinates in the XML files: I cant seem to figure out how the coordinate system works doesn't look like its anywhere near pixels or percentages, any idea what it is?
Second when I fiddle with the coordinates I can make the windows show up close to where I want them, but suddenly if I change the Y coordinate from 239 to 240 it works ok it moves a tiny bit, then if I change it from 240 to 241 it will jump like 200 pixels down.... any ideas why, and how to change it?

Tint colors / Textures:
I would like to set all my windows to use a specific tint color and not use a texture, I would guess you could set that in the "Screen item" but I have no idea how?

The coordinate system in the XML files is broken and either Verant don't realise it (even though I've bugged it numerous times) or they don't care to fix it. So for now you can't put things exactly where you want them. Best thing to do, say if you have something like the Quartz window) is to set it up in the resolutions and then also ship with the skin a copy of your characters UI ini file.

The tinting could be solved by the suggestion above with the UI ini file. I don't think there is a way to set the tint in the XML, but then again I haven't tried. Although you can turn the texture off.
