Any feedback for this game yet? I am not sure what the pull would be for us, so maybe someone who is playing it could explain.

It's... decent. It didn't grab my attention right off like I had hoped, but it decent nonetheless.

The world itself is HUUUUGE and very well put together. I really don't care for the subdued, earthtoned colors everything seems to be. There is SOME color... but the landscape (while atmospheric) just looks bland to me.

It world is SO huge and the gameplay SO free-for-all that it gets kinda boring figuring out what to do. I've mainly done Fed Ex type quests and have bribed my way through some assasination quests.

Be prepared to die -- A LOT! :)

Think Daggerfall gameplay with a graphical upgrade but without the randomized dungeons.

I haven't looked at the enclosed editor yet.

I think its great. The graphics are really nice imo, although your going to need a very high end computer, especially video card to make it run well. There are adjustments you can make that bring the color out better, dont have the link at work now. I havent had anything buggy happen to me yet, as opposed to when i played Daggerfall i experienced aton of bugs. The world his huge which was expected, my question is how come Baldurs Gate took up like 6 CD's, and this game only takes up one(not including editor) but its gotta be way bigger than BG. I've only had a handful of hours to play it, but everything i experienced so far was to my liking. Alot of mini quests so far, but theyre nice to get myself some money to equip myself better.

I've also read about being able to own your own home or castle or something. You can join a number of guilds or houses, and things of that sort which will hire you to do tasks. The combats like AC, swing your weapon but it involves different type of swings. If your spellcasting, instead of equipping your sword, you press a button to equip your hands which stick out in front of you like your going to cast. All of my fights so far have been toe to toe fights though, basically who can do the msot damage fastest, not much in terms of tactics. Theres still aton i havent seen yet, but i'll take it gradually. This game is so huge and open, that its not one of those things you can finish.

Its basically as open ended a single rpg you can get. Guess that describes Daggerfall too, but Daggerfall was very buggy imo, and it wasnt too pretty. Morrowind looks very good everywhere you go, and its hardly ever the same trees and ground over and over again either. My only complaint is moving so slow, and i hated that about Daggerfall as well. I dont reccomend this to the Diablo rpg fan, more for the quest-dialogue roleplaying fan. Its definitely worth the money if thats what you enjoy. So many options, so many things to do, and its unique in alot of ways. Try it, i can definitely reccomend it :)
